Originator	USDA Forest Service, Superior National Forest
Title	TEU_ForestWideEdit
Abstract	Forestwide polygon terrestrial ecological unit coverage (once referred to as land type phase (LTP) or soil coverage ). Created from manuscripts (by contractor) of individual 7.5" quads which were converted to electronic format. Electronic copies were checked by Ginny Miller, Biological Science Tech., Supervisor's Office, for quality control. Any errors were corrected on electronic format by Ginny using ArcGIS software in ArcEdit session. Individual quads were joined to create seamless layer of entire Forest. Manuscripting contracts were bid on yearly with 8 to 10 quads to be completed per fiscal year starting in 1999 through 2008. Contractors were Kathy Skrivseth, Foster Wheeler, or PhotoScience. Final update of coverage completed on 4/15/2011 by Ginny Miller, reviewed by Casey McQuiston.Last update completed by Teresa Hanson on April 30, 2012.
Purpose	Provide forestwide coverage of terrestrial ecological units for use in ecosystem managment and planning.
