Section 2: Data Quality
Attribute Accuracy:
HUD data source +-61 meters (roughly 200 feet)
GPS data source +-3 meters (roughly 9 feet)
Logical Consistency:
Data have been checked for consistency using ArcGIS 10 tools. Tests of Valid Values, General Tests for Graphic Data, Specific Topological Tests.
Completeness:
Complete statewide.
Horizontal Positional Accuracy:
Data Source -
HUD = 1:100,000 to 1:2400
GPS = +- 3 meters
Vertical Positional Accuracy:
Not Applicable
Lineage:
The original line data was gathered from GPS data collection and the interpretation of OHV trails captured through heads up digitization with the latest aerial photos at varying scales. With every advancing year the data has been corrected through better attention to detail, GPS data and geoprocessing tools.
