Data have been verified to be topologically correct using ArcGIS tools.
Completeness:
All existing Superior Hiking Trail Association resources have been collected. Updates will be made as new trail segments and resources are developed or improved.
Horizontal Positional Accuracy:
Horizontal position accuracy is determined by the data collecting GPS unit, almost entirely Trimble Realtime or Post Differentially Corrected GPS Units. 1-3 meters on average
.
Vertical Positional Accuracy:
Not specifically assessed.
Lineage:
This dataset is derived and regularly updated from the DNR WHEELS Database.
