Extent of available data.
This data layer is the 2003 statewide summer orthophotography. It originated from the Farm Service Agency (United States Department of Agriculture) and was captured at a 1 meter resolution as part of the National Agricultural Imagery Program. Most imagery is from 2003, but missing areas were added in 2004. Orthophotography is extremely useful for determining land use and land cover. As a result of this, it can provide important context for specific locations and other spatial data. If multiple years are available, it can also be used to identify changes that take place on the landscape.
