Extent of available data.
This data layer is the 2009 Statewide Summer Orthophotography. It originated from the Farm Service Agency (US Department of Agriculture) and was captured at a 1 meter resolution as part of the National Agricultural Imagery Program. Orthophotography is extremely useful for determining land use and land cover. As a result, it can provide important context for specific locations and other spatial data. If multiple years are available, it can also be used to identify changes that take place on the landscape.
