2025 – Statewide – CIR – Summer

This data layer is the 2025 Statewide Summer Orthophotography displayed in false color infrared (CIR) utilizing bands of near-infrared, red, and green. It originated from the Farm Service Agency (US Department of Agriculture) and was captured at a 60 centimeter (2 foot) resolution as part of the National Agricultural Imagery Program (NAIP). Orthophotography is extremely useful for determining land use and land cover. As a result, it can provide important context for specific locations and other spatial data. If multiple years are available, it can also be used to identify changes that take place on the landscape.
