ACS – High School Graduate or Higher

This data layer displays the percentage of High School Graduates by Census Tract. It includes all persons over the age of 25 who have obtained at least a high school diploma or its equivalent. It was developed by the Metropolitan Council and the Natural Resources Research Institute using data from the American Community Survey's (ACS) five-year summary for 2016 to 2020. The ACS is conducted on an annual basis by the US Census Bureau, and provides more timely data than the Census for identifying trends in a community. ACS data provides survey-collected demographic, social, economic, commuting, and housing statistics, which can be useful for project planning.
