Diabetes Rate – Adults

This data layer depicts the Adult Diabetes Rate. It was developed by Minnesota Compass and the Natural Resources Research Institute using data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The adult Diabetes Rate is the percentage of adults (age 20+) who had diabetes in 2020. It was compiled at the county level. Note that these are statistical estimates and do not include the margin of error. Diabetes rate data have been used as an indicator of community health and well-being. These data are useful in food access programming and other community health services.
