This data layer indicates total phosphorus fertilizer density used in agriculture at the major watershed scale for the state of Minnesota in 2016. It was developed by the University of Minnesota using data from the Minnesota Department of Agriculture Nutrient Management Survey. Agriculture is an important economic activity in Minnesota.
