Forestry – Lidar: Forest Model Mask – CT dependent

This dataset is the first of two masks used in the creation of Lidar-derived products developed by the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources using Lidar data that was collected as part of the Minnesota 3DEP USGS Lidar program. This mask omits pixels that contain less than 10% of Lidar first returns that are over 3 meters tall, representing non-forested or regenerating areas. Two of the Lidar-derived forest inventory models (i.e. age and site index) are cover type dependent and only have this first mask applied.
