Extent of available data.
This data layer is the 2006 Summer & Fall Orthophotography for 40 counties in Minnesota. It originated from the Minnesota Department of Agriculture and was made public by the US Geological Survey. It has a 1 meter resolution. Orthophotography is extremely useful for determining land use and land cover. As a result, it can provide important context for specific locations and other spatial data. If multiple years are available, it can also be used to identify changes that take place on the landscape.
