This data layer is 2020 Spring Leaf-Off Orthophotography produced from imagery containing four bands of red, green, blue, and infrared (RGBI). It originated from the Metropolitan Council and Surdex Corporation and covers the Twin Cities metro area at a 1 foot resolution. Orthophotography is extremely useful for determining land use and land cover. As a result, it can provide important context for specific locations and other spatial data. If multiple years are available, it can also be used to identify changes that take place on the landscape.
