This data layer is 2010 Spring Leaf-Off Orthophotography produced from imagery containing four bands of red, green, blue, and infrared (RGBI). It originated from the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources and Surdex Corporation and covers Chisago, Isanti, Sherburne and Wright counties in east-central Minnesota at a 0.5 meter resolution. Orthophotography is extremely useful for determining land use and land cover. As a result, it can provide important context for specific locations and other spatial data. If multiple years are available, it can also be used to identify changes that take place on the landscape.
