Pollution Sensitivity – Near-Surface Materials

This data layer indicates the Pollution Sensitivity of Near-Surface Geological Materials. It was developed by the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources. Pollution sensitivity is estimated from the transmission time of water through 3 feet of soil and 7 feet of surficial geology to a depth of 10 feet from the land surface. This information can be used for land use planning and modeling.
