Wastewater Facilities – Discharges

This data layer displays regulated wastewater facility discharge locations throughout Minnesota. It was created by the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency. This dataset is comprised of discharge locations, which is not always the same as a treatment facility location. Additionally, tribal permits are administered federally and not included in this data. Information on a discharge location's classifications and characteristics is also included. The location and information regarding wastewater treatment facilities can assist with research on water quality, emergency management, and environmental concerns.
